Everything you need to know about submitting artwork for production. It all starts with the artwork.
This is critical, which is why it’s first on the list! If you submit artwork that’s 4" wide and 8" tall and select a 9"x12.75" sheet size for your order, we’ll print the artwork at 4"x8". We do not resize your artwork.
We recommend submitting your artwork in the highest resolution possible (at least 300 DPI).
Here’s a list of accepted file formats:
PDF / AI / PSD / PNG / JPG / EPS / TIFF / BMP
In design terms, “live fonts” mean editable text. We DO NOT accept files with “live fonts.” If you submit a file with live fonts you will be asked to resubmit a corrected new file. To avoid this, we recommend converting live fonts to “outlines,” which turns the text into a shape that can’t be altered, ensuring your design prints exactly as intended.
The weight of lines or fine details that can be printed varies by product. The minimum line weight requirement is 1pt. Anything less than that may not transfer. We are not liable if you submit lines less than 1pt.
If you’re printing a copyrighted or trademarked image, you must have legal rights to do so, usually through a license agreement signed directly with the trademark owner. To print these designs, we require you to provide proper documentation.
At PressPeelShip.com, we reserve the right to request this documentation at any time, regardless of your order history. Our goal is to protect our customers from potential legal issues tied to unauthorized reproduction of copyrighted or trademarked material. Intellectual property laws, including those governing apparel, protect these works.
Exceptions: Some exceptions may apply for parody art and personal-use projects that aren’t for resale or profit, but these are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We cannot guarantee approval, and we also reserve the right to reject designs we consider offensive or in poor taste.
But I bought this logo online
Purchasing artwork online doesn’t necessarily grant the right to reproduce it for resale purposes. Many digital works are intended for online use, where “fair use” may apply. However, any trademarked image used for profit requires written permission from the trademark owner. PressPeelShip.com is not liable for losses arising from third-party purchases of digital artwork.
Trademark/Copyright Protocol
PressPeelShip.com reserves the right to refuse to print any copyrighted or trademarked designs. We assume no liability for unauthorized use of such materials. By placing an order, you agree to indemnify PressPeelShip.com against any legal issues resulting from unauthorized use of artwork.
